Christmas Show 2007
with Tonic Sol fa
December 19, 2007
Thanks to Linda and Mike
Scheidegger (Mike is a VOA member) for taking these pictures. As you can
see, they're from a different angle and include the opening segments with
VOA.

This eight-man ensemble has been
working on Drummer Boy for several weeks and gave a great performance of the
Christmas favorite.

John Kreipe became the "narrator"
for that Christmas guest...

...who could it be...

...why it is! It's the Christmas
Banana! VOA has sung "The Christmas Banana" ever since former American
BarberBoys member David Noe wrote the words and melody.

Besides portraying the Christmas
Banana, Curtis Zahnd also ably took care of emcee duties. By the way, thanks
to Janet Alexander for creating this clever costume; it's hard to do it full
justice in pictures since it included it's own lighting system!

Thanks also to Cheryl Herrman for
plaing piano on two of our songs.

We also had a "boys choir" for
The Christmas Canon.

An emotional highlight for many
of us is "I Have Seen the Light". The trio is made up of (l-r) Shaun Agnew,
Byron Myers and Bemo Myers.

Chapter quartet Chordtime sang
three songs during the transition from VOA to Tonic Sol-fa.

Sandy Gumm also made
announcements regarding the Singing Valentines coming up in a few weeks.

Then the hightlight of the
evening -- Tonic Sol-fa!
