Christmas Show 2006

with Tonic Sol fa

December 6, 2006

The Missouri Theater is always a great venue for our shows

Tonic Sol fa's lighting guy drafted VOA member Josh Heckman to help run lights during setup -- Josh on the light board, a scary sight! But apparently he did a great job, the lighting for the show was great.

More of the setup process. TSF arrived several hours before the show to setup their own sound and staging as well as some special lighting and video projectors.

Final warm-ups for the VOA chorus.

The Chorus also took the opportunity to get a "formal" PR shot.

The "photo session" from a different angle.

VOA later opened the show with a 35 minute set emceed by Allied Arts Council Executive Director Teresa Fankhauser (sorry, we didn't get any pictures of Teresa, but she did a great job).

Director Bemo Myers.

The chorus being directed by assistant director Shaun Agnew.

Our own "Grinch" -- Matt Paden -- sings the very low solo on "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch".

Clinton Dougherty didn't quite realize the Christmas Banana was a comedy piece...

...even with Bemo's help.

Our 'Boys Choir' on "Christmas Canon" included (l-r) Caleb Klingseis, B.J. Myers, Joe Myers, David Laws, Mark Langemach, Joseph Kellogg and Tyler Davison.

More of the Christmas Canon, including our pianist Cheryl Hermann at right.

Soloists for "I Have Seen the Light" included Byron Myers...

...Shaun Agnew...

...and Bemo Myers.

Byron Myers was also honored during the break for concluding a two-year term as president of the Central States District.
