Special Announcement
As of June, 2008, Bemo
Myers' resignation as director of the Voices of America chorus was
reluctantly accepted by the VOA board of directors. The board
subsequently named Shaun Agnew as the interim director until a full
search and selection process can be accomplished.
Bemo Myers' contributions
to the chorus were numerous and notable, however, Bemo felt now was
a good time for the chorus and chapter to "turn the page" on a new
era. Bemo will continue to be active in the chorus -- usually as a
tenor! -- as we make continued progress toward many goals.
The board has also named
a search committee which will be determining the exact process to
fill the permanent director position. In the meantime, anyone
interested in being the director of this exciting and progressive
chorus should contact Scott Johnson at
info@vchorus.com. More details will be posted here as soon as
they become available.
